Using Cardboard, paint, and other materials for masks and props Get ready
to be part of the July 4th parade McCloskey story theme.

Young artists will paint large underwater ocean creatures to decorate
the art room doors and walls at Seamark.

Clay Bowls and Animals with
Melody Lewis
With Native North American folktale as inspiration we will construct hand
built pots and figures that will be fired and painted.

Equine Drawing for Horse Lovers
with Penny Plumb
Spend a morning with equine artist Penny Plumb and her 2 miniature horses,
Chipolte Rose & Adobe Mae at their home in Sunshine. Students will
be introduced to simple anatomy thru basic grooming, and assisted as they
interpret their own observations.

Sculpture & Mobiles with
Saskia & Natasha
With paper mache treasures that you make from wire, masking tape, tissue
paper, paint and imagination. You will create a whimsical sculpture or
mobile to enhance any bedroom.

Instrument Making with Saskia

A variety of Amazon percussion possibilities will be offered, from rainsticks
to drums and shakers. Using wood, tools, skins, & bottle caps.

Field Sketching with Saskia
and Natasha
Back by popular demand. We will explore a special island beach or park
with sketchbooks,and a variety drawing and painting materials and record
what we see and feel.

Plaster Medallions with Saskia
and Natasha
Take a field trip into the woods & beach to collect flowers, shells
& stones to cast into a plaster medallion. It will be finished off
with a fun mosaic frame.

Flower Wreaths with Holley,
Saskia and Natasha
We will gather the greens, sea lavender and flowers of the season and
put them into a wreath that will dry and keep all winter.
